I have trunks in my apartment
Filled with minimal things
Symbolizing the everlasting move
Showing that I can get up and go
At any time
In any moment.
My life is in those trunks
And I pack my life
So neatly, So gently,
Hoping that nothing breaks.

They are also my battle scars
Healed by all those foreign stickers
Proving my trials by fire
Silent testimony of my experience.
I never peel off any of those stickers
From pride of the authenticating seal
And fear of losing that stamp
That mute evidence of my being.
