The Fifth Dimension Alliance
Second Annual Gathering

26-30 October 2005, Crestone, Colorado

The purpose of this Gathering is to enliven and expand our expressions as personal leaders in all walks of our lives.

To begin, let’s remember the vision that guides our Alliance:

“It is our intention to bring together an alliance of professionals seasoned in their understanding and facilitation of cultural dynamics who are deeply committed to the development of their own personal mastery.

It is our belief that such individuals, working within a commitment to be of service from the highest and best in themselves, can play a vital role in facilitating the innovative thinking needed to significantly and positively impact arenas of global concern.  Such arenas may include: the development of civil society and healthy communities; environmental and economic sustainability; peace building; and the expansion of individual, group and organizational creativity.”

Our focus during this Second Annual Gathering will include both emerging traditions and dynamic new topics:

Emerging Traditions:

  • A sharpening and focusing of our real-time application of Personal Leadership.
  • A deep exploration of “holding presence,” directed towards supporting us in working and living from our highest and best.
  • Time for reflection, integration and insight, gourmet meals, hikes and field trips and unbridled laughter in great company, all in the glorious light of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

New This Year:

  • Consultancy Show-Case: How might you build a PL foundation for your current or upcoming projects? Strengthen the extent to which you integrate the flavor of PL and the specific PL principles and practices into both your project design and implementation. Register in advance to share a project or two with 5DA participants, and receive their insight, guidance, and celebration.
  • Special session with Gordon Watanabe on ways to feature in our lives the energy vibrations of meditation and transformation.

We thank you for your interest in The Second Annual Gathering of The Fifth Dimension Alliance.

Details and Logistics

The Gathering will be held in Crestone, Colorado, a small town nestled in the incredible beauty of The Sangre de Cristo Mountains--where the “Southwest meets the Rockies.” Crestone, Colorado is about a 4 hour drive from Denver International Airport, or a 1 hour drive from the airport in Alamosa, Colorado.

The seminar begins with dinner on Wednesday 26 October and completes after dinner on Saturday 29 October. We ask that you arrive into Crestone by 5pm on the 26th and plan your departure for no earlier than after breakfast on Sunday 30th.

Seminar Fee: The price for the seminar is US$700. Self-paying individuals, or those of you whose participation is paid for by a non-governmental organization (NGO) or other not-for-profit/charitable organization, may use a sliding scale structure of US$475 - 700; you thus fix your own price based on your ability to pay. (Please note that employees of educational institutions who are sponsored by those institutions do not qualify for the sliding scale option.)

We are limiting participation to a maximum of 15 people; to hold your reservation, a minimum deposit of US$300 is needed by Wednesday 24 August. When paying by credit card, the full seminar fee must be paid at the time of registration.

Meal Costs: Dinners on the day of arrival and on the last day, and 2 of our lunches in between, will be prepared for us by a local gourmet chef; groceries will be provided for your breakfasts. You will be on your own for all other meals. The cost for our communal meals is $70.  Payment of meal costs is due at the same time as the balance of the seminar fee, and may be included with that balance in one comprehensive payment. If you choose to pay meal costs by credit card, however, meal costs must be included in the single credit card payment of the seminar fee made at the time of registration.

Lodging: You will be housed in condominiums a few minutes from the seminar site. Comfortably furnished in true southwest style, these have full kitchens, fireplaces, lots of natural light, and patios. Please indicate on the registration form your preference for single ($63.00 per night) or double ($31.50 per night) occupancy. The Crestone Institute will make the appropriate reservation on your behalf. Payment, however, must be made directly to “Accommodations of Choice.” Please bring with you a check, money order, travelers check or cash as they do not accept credit cards.

Refund Policy: If The Crestone Institute should cancel the seminar, you will be refunded in full any moneys you have paid to us. If you cancel your participation one month or more before the seminar, we will refund you in full, less a $50 administrative fee. If you cancel your participation within one month of the seminar, we will deduct the $50 administrative fee and then negotiate a refund of the balance of whatever you have paid based upon our ability to fill your space.

Next Steps: Once we have received your registration, we will send you information about making your travel arrangements, along with our recommendations for advance preparation.
